Mythos Urban Greek Eatery, a second outpost of the award-winning Greek restaurant Mythos Kouzina and Grill, opens at The Square in City Walk. With respect to the deep roots of Greek cuisine, but with a fresh perspective. Mythos Urban Greek Eatery exudes a contemporary easy-going vibe, vibrant beverage offering and of course its well-loved authentic Greek dishes finessed by Group Culinary Director and Chef, Ilias Kokoroskos.
Chef Ilias references the tranquility and natural beauty of Greece and its remarkable ingredients as a starting point, transforming each dish to crave-worthy status by accentuating the very best of Greek flavors, colors and aromas. Expect amazing mezedes and sharing starters such as Fava (yellow split peas puree), Melitzanosalata (smokey aubergine), Feta in Filo, Fish Marinato (yellowtail tartare), Cretan Salad to traditional classics like Gemista, Mousaka, Seafood Yiouvetsi, Kleftiko (slow-cooked suckling goat) succulent grills and mouthwatering Greek desserts.
The food menu is accompanied by an eclectic wine list. That will allow guests to discover some of Greece’s lesser-known wines with indigenous varieties along with a selection of cocktails re-imagined through a Greek lens. All served in the signature style of warm, personable and impeccable service that defines the Mythos experience, which is led by the group’s Director of Operations, Eva Pispirigkou.
Designed by Stones & Walls, interior design studio based in Athens. The aesthetic is deep rooted in natural materials, earthy colors, raw and unfinished textures. Attaining a laid-back modern space that draws guests in effortlessly with its charming beautifully-crafted pottery, handwoven rattan chairs and artistic tableware.
Bi-folding windows open to a cozy outdoor dining area adorned by greenery and olive trees under a shaded pergola and an outdoor cooling system to enjoy all year long. Alex and Fay Economides worked very closely with Stones and Walls to create a space referencing its Greek heritage in a contemporary interpretation that reflects the ambiance, authenticity and timeless charm that Mythos is known for.
