Gates Hospitality Reveals Line-up of 8 F&B Concepts for COP28 at Expo City Dubai

Gates Hospitality, renowned for its innovative dining concepts, has announced the launch of 8 diverse and unique F&B concepts for the COP28 conference, which starts on the 30th of November and is due to witness around 250,000 meals dished up to visitors. The news follows on from the success of the Gates Hospitality portfolio of 6 restaurants operated during Expo 2020 Dubai and marks a welcome return for the group to Expo City Dubai.

Aligning with COP28’s Sustainable Catering Strategy mandates, the Gates Hospitality venues will work tirelessly to minimize waste, provide sustainable packaging, source local/regional produce, and recycle where possible; demonstrating that climate-conscious catering can be achieved on a large scale.

At Expo City Dubai, Gates Hospitality will be showcasing three new homegrown concepts that alongside one international concept, the launch of Hideaway, the spirited sibling of iconic London Mayfair establishment Hide Restaurant by world-renowned Chef Ollie Dabbous. Plus representative pop-ups of their beloved UAE brands, Reform Social & Grill, Bistro Des Arts and Ultra Brasserie. Collaborating with esteemed local chefs, Faisal Naser and Sara Aqel, Gates Hospitality ensures an experience of authentic flavours and premium quality.

REFORM SOCIAL & GRILL

Reform Social & Grill, a Dubai favorite, will present its first pop-up in Expo City Dubai. As one of Dubai’s London-inspired vibrant gastropubs, it offers quintessential British breakfasts, classic lunches, seasonal barbecues, and limited-edition menus.

SAFAR by Sara Aqel

Safar takes guests on a Mediterranean journey, celebrating local artisan foods, Italian cuisine, and chef Sara’s Palestinian heritage. Championing female talents worldwide, Safar offers a specialty cocktail menu and wines that tell captivating stories with every sip.

TOS:T by Faisal Naser

TOS:T reimagines the classic cheese toastie and soul-warming soups with homemade sourdough and the finest quality cheese, delivering a comforting and indulgent experience.

Blue Zone

AJEENÉ by Faisal Naser

AJEENÉ, meaning ‘dough’ in English, will provide a traditional Levant street food experience. With authentic mana’eesh, shawarma, and falafel sandwiches, guests will be transported to the vibrant pallet of Middle Eastern Cuisine.

ULTRA BRASSERIE TO GO

Ultra Brasserie To Go, inspired by Dubai’s leading healthy eating café, offers freshly brewed coffee and nutritious bites for busy individuals on the move.

Straya Square

Recently opened at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, Straya Square provides delicious, freshly prepared items for those seeking a quick bite or a cozy dining experience.

Bistro Des Arts

A quintessential 1970 Parisian bistro concept serving a repertoire of classic “Terroir” French home-style food served in a laid-back casual style environment.

Gates Hospitality’s grand opening of these concepts promises to delight food enthusiasts, reflecting its commitment to culinary innovation and exceptional hospitality. All venues will be operational from COP28 at the end of November throughout Expo City Dubai until post-Ramadan, offering a dining experience fit for all.
